Community Care Licensing is a part of Department of Social Services and is responsible for the licensing of Adult Residential Facilities in California.
Regional Centers are managed by California Department of Developmental Services and coordinate the services and supports for individuals with developmental disability and autism. Regional Center contracts with vendors to provide an array of services such as day programming, supportive living and residential care.
